Using Techniques

Advice your team leader about the reasonable time you need to set up the trap system. So, they can approach to the trap in secure way. Pull the system back immediately after the suspicious car passing.

The Trap Is Set In Between 2 Lanes

If there is sufficient time, the trap is set in between 2 lanes when traffic is flowing. Rope is laid on the road surface and the personel hides securely.

Pull The Rope

Rope is laid on the road surface and the personel hides securely. When the suspicious car approaches, the rope that is connected to the trap is pulled to open it.

PAVEMENT EDGE LAYING METHOD

Pavement edge laying method is used where high traffic or limited time. Visible position of the personnel is required.

  1. Step : Remove the unit from its bag, take position where the approaching suspect vehicle and patrols can be seen clearly.
  2. Step : When the suspicious vehicle is seen, hold the unit on the pavement at the level of ankle, slide the unit to the road by holding the rope.
  3. Step : Specify the zone to escape. Put the Rope attachment to the ground, hold the rope that unfastens from its base and let it slip, and then hold the apparatus very tight.
  4. Step : After the suspicious car passing through the trap, pull back the trap immediately by using the rope apparatus.

Pulling Method

If there is sufficient time, the trap is set in between 2 lanes when traffic is flowing. Rope is laid on the road surface and the personel hides securely. This method needs for personnel to pass across the street and should be careful not to get injured or to cause to an accident.

  1. Step : Put the unit over the road by laying the rope on surface.
  2. Step : Hold the rope with one hand, leave the roll over the ground and walk across the street by letting the rope slip in your hand.
  3. Step : Hold the rope tightly and tense, leave the trap closed over the asphalt and take your position where you can easily observe the approaching cars.
  4. Step : If there isn’t any other cars, pull the rope strongly and open the trap to the other side of the road. Hold the apparatus tightly.
